1. Initial Meeting
During our initial meeting, which we will hold at your home, our goal is to get a better idea of your needs, dreams, and scope of the project. We’ll ask you for examples or inspirations, whether it is a neighbor’s house or something you’ve seen in a magazine or on Pinterest. At this meeting, we’ll also talk about your budget, material options, and even start sketching out a rough draft of the project.
2. Obtain a Retainer and Start Design
If everything looks good and you would like to proceed with us, we collect a small ($250-$1,000 depending on size of project) retainer. This will start the design process. We will generate a CAD design based off of the initial meeting, along with an estimated proposal. In the case of larger projects, we may need several additional meetings to finalize products and layouts. We can even paint lines on your existing landscaping so you and your family can get a better feel for the scope of the project.
3. Installation
Once the proposal is signed and a deposit is paid, we’ll order the materials and schedule the installation. Our team of professional hardscaping installers have had countless hours of classroom and on site training. This means your hardscaping projects will be installed using industry-leading practices and materials.
While running his own company, he took all the steps to become an Authorized Contractor with both manufacturers, EP Henry and Unilock. The Authorized Contractor Program was designed to help homeowners connect with professional contractors who can be trusted to do the job right. Unilock Authorized Contractors are part of an elite group, made up of only 10 in the region (central and eastern PA), whose work and business practices have met demanding standards. All Authorized Contractors offer a minimum two-year guarantee on their workmanship. We continue to work through the process to become Authorized with both manufactures.

Shawn’s was blessed to win the award in 2017 for Best Project under 1000 sq ft and again won Best Project under 1,000 sq.ft AND took top award, Best in Show.
